Denise Scicluna is a visual artist, specialising in photography, painting, illustration and crafts. She was born in Malta but is now based in London.

She is a freelance photographer and has worked with several local bands and musicians namely Carrie Haber, The Characters, Big Band Brothers and Scream Daisy. Apart from band and fashion photography, she enjoys shooting abstract minimal and urban photography, based mostly on the concept of "less is more". She is fond of colours, textures and patterns, spotted around her. She also worked as a photojournalist for 2 years with local newspapers MaltaToday and Illum.

Her paintings and illustration have been described as quirky, naive and vibrant, featuring various traditional media such as collage, acrylics, ink and gouache. Denise Scicluna participated in Scream Daisy's music video called "Pretty" by illustrating the lyrics of the song. The video was awarded "Best Music Video in the Malta Music Awards by MTV Europe.

Recycled items, clay and felt are used in Denise's crafts and handmade creations. She started creating Jellyfishmonsters from clay, in 2008 which are turned to magnets, pendants, and brooches. Denise Scicluna is the founder and curator of Malta's first arts and craft fair, PATCHES, which takes place in Malta's capital city, Valletta. Patches was founded in May 2010.

Sale of original work is considered.
